The backside of the fastener that attaches the black plastic fender moulding to the metal fender.... exposed when the front doors are open.

All plastic cladding should die a horrible death.

Whatd’ya’ want? A car that looks good on the outside or the inside?
Its the way things are. I was horrified after I bought the latest Family Truckster (actually Honda Pilot) that I could see foam in door hinge area. Yup, black styrofoamy stuff that they wedge behind the body panels for sound deadening or something. Whatever. These are not finely handcrafted vehicles made by coach builders on a body buck and shaped on an English wheel.

Hey, its not like I complained about the stringy plastic hanging down from the headliner, like they forgot to clean excess glue or plastic from the mold or whatever caused it to get there.
(in all honesty its just an old joke that originated back when the C7 came out)

Even when they are though, they still break.... excuse me I have to go talk to FEDEX about more car part import VAT fees.
